Collection of Professional Health Data
To provide expert-led online consultations, NutriCounsel collects specific categories of personal data. This begins when you interact with our website or book a session. We process your name, contact details, and technical identifiers such as IP addresses for security and analytics.
Beyond basic contact information, our nutritional guidance requires the processing of sensitive data, including dietary habits, medical history relevant to nutrition, and lifestyle markers. This information is only processed with your explicit consent, which is obtained at the time of booking.
Secure Vaulting
Retention and Digital Fortification
Your data is stored on secure servers within the European Economic Area (EEA). We employ industry-standard encryption protocols (TLS/SSL) for all data transmission between your browser and our consultation platform.
We maintain your information only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Typically, clinical records are retained for five years following your last consultation to ensure continuity of care, unless a longer period is mandated by Danish health legislation.
Your Statutory Rights under GDPR
Right to Access
Request a full copy of the personal data we hold about your nutritional profile at any time.
Right to Rectification
Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information regarding your health history or contact details.
Right to Erasure
Known as the 'right to be forgotten', you can request clinical data deletion if legal retention grounds no longer apply.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Revoke your permission for us to process sensitive health information, stopping all active counseling services.
Authorized Third Parties
NutriCounsel does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. To facilitate our service, we engage a limited number of trusted processors who adhere to strict data protection standards:
- Booking Platforms: Secure scheduling tools that process your appointment requests.
- Video Communication: Secure, encrypted providers used for online consultations.
Refer to our Cookie Policy for details on usage analytics and technical tracking.
